Plastic surgery requires, I believe, a higher degree of expertise and understanding from one's surgeon than any other discipline. Mr Sinclair Gore has both in Spades. He explained in detail the procedure to cut out the cancer on my face, and the expected outcome. All went smoothly on the day. He's the sort of guy who talks you through what's happening, and has such rapport with his team that his theatre sister realised I was nervous, and held my hand. Such care and kindness are rare these days. Despite 16 stitches, friends and family could not believe the lack of scarring within a week of surgery, and now, 3 months later, not only is it barely visible, but Mr Sinclair Gore confirmed yesterday that the cancer is fully removed. I cannot thank him nor recommend him enough.

After long awaited breast reduction surgery, I was appointed Mr Gore to carry out my operation in March this year (2015) I can't believe how lucky I was to have this wonderful man perform my surgery, he is truly an amazing professional with so much attention to detail. Mr Gore was so caring and listened to me and gave me so much reassurance he even contacted me at my home to check on me. Since my operation I am a different person this has been a life changing experience not only to how I look but my self confidence has rocketed. I now enjoy shopping for clothes , bikinis and underwear. I am so happy, thank you Mr Gore you are truly a very wonderful talented charming surgeon!

I would like to start my review with the opening line if you are ever lucky, fortunate enough, or given the chance, choice or opportunity of having Mr Gore nominated or selected as your Surgeon grab it with both hands and thank the lord that you will be looked after and cared for with your best interests at heart. I was "seconded" into Mr Gore's care in late January 2015. I had my first appointment with him on the 27th January and for the first time I felt at ease and could ask the questions about my breast reduction surgery that I felt too afraid to ask the previous nominated surgeon. At my initial appointment Mr Gore came out and fetched me himself. We had a long chat and for the very first time ever he asked how I felt. No one ever asked or cared. I hadn't even addressed the issue in my own head. I realized that he cared about not only the physical outcome but the physiological one for me. He gained my trust on day one and continued to telephone and keep in contact until my surgery on the 24th February. On the morning of the surgery he was first on the floor, put me at ease and explained the surgery. He organised to meet my husband that evening after my surgery, which he did. He checked me in recovery at gone 19.00 hours that day and was back at my bedside the following morning at 6.30 to ensure that all was OK. I was due to see him at 18.00 but he was delayed in surgery and had the amazing decency to ring me and advise that he was running late. In fact, he treated everyone, especially the nursing and theatre staff, with the utmost respect. I have the most amazing new body shape and my outlook, self belief and confidence has rocketed thanks to a great surgeon and gentleman. I hope his colleagues and peers are aware of a genius among them who is caring, diligent and a changer of lives. Any trust or hospital would be fortunate to have him as a member of staff. Thank you Mr Gore.

I received excellent care from Mr Gore for my elective breast reduction. He fully explained the operation and recovery period and made me aware of any potential problems as well as the long term advantages of the surgery. The personal care I received was amazing and included phone calls at home to check/reassure me before surgery and during recovery and an unscheduled check up appointment when recovery was not 100%.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Gore who is professional, friendly and a great advertisement for NHS care.

Sinclair Gore is a consultant plastic and cosmetic surgeon practising in Oxford, Banbury and Reading. In the NHS Mr. Gore specialises in skin cancer, head and neck cancer surgery and facial reconstruction.
